[ A CHICAGO MUSIC LEGACY / SINCE 1975 ]

A Chicago music legacy, carried forward for new artists.

Armando Terrazas II founded Fracture to put his own experience and his family’s hard-earned industry knowledge to work for a new generation of artists. Our process puts creativity and expression first, with equality, equity, artist ownership, and creative control at its core.

[ 01 / 1975—2000s ]

From Chicago to an international stage.

Los Horóscopos de Durango showed what could be built from Chicago—and what the city could contribute to the wider music industry.

A family legacy built in Chicago and heard far beyond it.

Fracture’s story begins in Chicago in 1975, when founder Armando Terrazas II’s father, Armando Terrazas, established Los Horóscopos de Durango. In the 2000s, the group became one of the leading acts in the Chicago-rooted duranguense movement, earning two Latin GRAMMY Awards and multiple Billboard Latin Music Awards.

Across decades of recording, touring, audience-building, catalog stewardship, and career decisions, the Terrazas family learned the music industry from the inside. That experience is the foundation behind Fracture, where it is put to work for new artists through a clear, connected process built to give them more knowledge, more agency, and professional support on their own terms.

[ 02 / MISSION ]

Build a more equal and equitable music industry—starting with a process that works for the artist.

Equality means every artist is treated with the same dignity. Equity means the support is shaped around what each artist actually needs.

Fracture connects production, management, distribution, live operations, and business strategy around the work. Creativity and expression lead; artist ownership and creative control stay central.

[ 03 / THE DIFFERENCE ]

Creative, technical, and business execution—connected.

Practical standards for creative, technical, and business decisions.

01

Stay close to the work

Fracture keeps strategy and administration accountable to the people actively producing, engineering, creating, and operating the work.

02

Build around the artist

Our process should strengthen an artist’s identity, not replace it with ours.

03

Connect the whole project

Creative decisions, technical execution, schedules, rights, and budgets work better when they are coordinated.

04

Make expertise accessible

We explain the business, build practical systems, and give artists a clear path forward.

05
