Document credits, approvals, and final files.

Before delivery, record who contributed, who approved the work, which versions are final, and where the band can find the files later.

01

Who made what?

List the writers, performers, producers, engineers, visual contributors, and anyone supplying outside material.

02

Who can approve what?

Decide who can approve mixes, artwork, spending, uploads, project changes, and commitments made for the band.

03

What is final?

Name the approved master, artwork, credits, metadata, and campaign versions. Keep source files separate from delivery files.

04

Where are the records and files kept?

Keep agreements, receipts, contributor information, identifiers, approvals, and final deliveries somewhere the band can access later.

Fracture provides production, administrative, and operational guidance—not legal or financial advice. Some decisions require a qualified attorney, accountant, or other specialist.

[ 04 / HOW IT WORKS ]

Book one session, scope one show, or plan one release.

A project can begin with one recording session, one rehearsal, one show, one release plan, or one operating question. Add services only when the project requires them.

  1. 01

    Describe the project

Name the songs, show, release, people, dates, work already completed, and the question that needs an answer.

  2. 02

    Name the next decision

Identify the immediate objective, decision-maker, deliverables, schedule, approvals, and unresolved questions.

  3. 03

    Choose the service and specialists

Define the recording, live audio, release management, music strategy, or artist-development work and assign the people responsible.

  4. 04

Close with final files and approvals

Deliver the approved files, credits, metadata, receipts, and closeout notes before the next phase begins.

Can Fracture give us legal advice or interpret a contract?

Fracture can organize project records and identify operational questions. Legal interpretation and advice must come from qualified counsel.

Do you only work with established artists?

No. Serving local and emerging artists is a core part of Fracture’s Chicago mission. Project fit and availability are confirmed before work is scheduled.
